the education of children through arrange of innovative education programmes

Summary: The Manager will
be responsible for the M&E function of the organization, responsible to
develop and coordinate implementation of M& E systems and plans in
accordance with GEM mandate and strategic plan Provide support to GEM-U
Programmes Director.
Duties & Responsibilities:
M&E
Framework:
- Translate
GEM organizational strategy and goals into an M&E Framework - Provide
leadership for M&E management – Define M&E requirements - Manage
the M&E function of the organization – workplans, manuals, tools and
indicator measurement - Support
Programmes Director in translating GEM Programmes into an M&E system.
Monitoring
& Evaluation:
- Spearhead
the regular tracking of GEM Deliverables - Manage
all GEM monitoring activities - Assemble
and coordinate monitoring team - Lead
analysis and interpretation of monitoring findings - Overall
staff and volunteer management for M&E
Reporting
and Documentation:
- Responsible
for the technical reporting function according to set standards - Ensure
adequate documentation of GEM activities – multi-media - Observe
the confidentiality requirement in accordance with Child Protection
principles.
Quality
Assurance: Ensure
high standard of all GEM reporting and documentation
Skills & Experience:
- A
relevant Bachelor’s degree. - A
Masters’ degree or other relevant qualification is added advantage. - At
least 4 years’ experience in a similar position especially a child-focused
NGO. - Post
Graduate Diploma in M&E or relevant specific training in M&E - Research
skills, data analysis and interpretation skills - Project
planning, management and report writing - Excellent
organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines - IT
skills – M&E relevant computer packages, - Report
writing, Accuracy and Attention to detail [tracking deliverables] - Interpersonal
and communication skills – incl. coaching and training
