Reports to: Programme Manager Nwoya
- Plans and implements activities and/or facilitates implementation of AS4Y project (agro-business, vocational training and youth development).
- Organization and capacity building of CEFORD and Vocational Training Institutes
- Oversees, stimulates and motivates coordinators
- Responsible for monitoring and reporting of projects in line with donor requirements
- Manages finances and expenditures according to the budget
- Contributes to preparation and planning of projects and provide input for new proposals
- Stimulates good team spirit and Christian Values among programme staff and partners.
- Build and maintains good relationships with local authorities, other organizations and actors linking to the relevant sector.
- The Manger will be a member of the Technical Taskforce and regional Committee
- The Manager should hold a Degree in Agriculture, Adult Education, Development studies, or other relevant field
- A minimum of four years project management experience
- Good management, planning, communication, writing and facilitation skills
- Excellent command of English
- Extensive experience in working in the agro-business sector and BTVET
- Innovative, creative and enthusiastic person (able to develop the best approach)
- Computer literacy skills
- Self motivator, having the ability to work with limited supervision
- Experience in working with partners and project cycle management
- Mature personality, who enjoys working with little supervision in a dynamic environment. (S)he should have the ability to endure some hardship.
