Summary: The Financial
Accountant will be responsible for providing operational support in Budgeting,
Planning & Reporting function of Treasury section-Finance Department. The
Manager is responsible for the day-to-day completion of assigned tasks within
given time

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Compile
and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including
monthly and annual accounts - Ensure
financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and
procedures. - Prepare
financial reports and ensure that the financial reporting deadlines are
met. - To
prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close - Resolve
accounting discrepancies and irregularities - Provide
support to budget and forecast activities - Support
and monitor taxation issues - Develop
and maintain financial data bases - Ensure
accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:
Skills & Experience:
- The
job holder should posses two years of experience working in a Telecom
Finance Department - A
Qualified Financial Accountant with 2-3 years of Post - Proficiency
with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Visio - Hands-on
experience with accounting software, preferably SUN systems. - Excellent
analytical skills and experience analysis tools - Demonstrated
ability to understand and solve complex financial issues - Strong
understanding of Telecom Financial Processes i.e. GSM, Fixed line, ISP - Strong
Interpersonal skills - Organisational
skills - Excellent
communication skills - Ability
to see opportunities and solve problems moment to moment - High
integrity - Strong
relationship building skills - Ability
to deliver results - Strong
commercial sense - Proven
report writing skills - Self-starter
