Project:
Development Food Assistance Program include RWANU Career Opportunities. ACDI/VOCA
was awarded the USAID-funded PL 480 Title II Development Food Assistance
Program called ‘Resiliency through Wealth, Agriculture, and Nutrition in
Karamoja (RWANU)”, being implemented in Karamoja, Uganda.
Summary: The Field
Extension Workers will be required to train and support farmers in farmer group
development, natural resource management, agronomy, farming-as-a-business
(FaaB), post-harvest handling/marketing, savings and credit management, arid
others as required.
Skills & Experience:
- A
diploma in agriculture or any other related disciplines. - At
least three (3) years relevant field experience in the Karamoja region and
knowledge of NgaKarimojong language are required. - Applicants
should indicate and be able to reside in their preferred sub-counties. - The
candidate must be licensed to ride a motorcycle, ability shall be tested.
