Concern Worldwide Uganda is recruiting six positions for a water, sanitation and hygiene project located in Pader and Agago Districts.
Job Summary: The School Environmental Health Officer and Environmental Health Officer will work to improve hygiene behaviour and sanitation coverage at the schools and communities and teach people to oversee new water/sanitation facilities in the area.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant should posses a Bachelor’s degree in Public or Environmental Health or a related field.
- Three years experience in planning and implementing environmental health interventions with an International NGO.
- The candidates must speak Luo:
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Demonstrates excellent training/facilitation skills;
- Familiar with current standards/guidelines for WASH (including SPHERE);
- Computer literacy (proficiency in MS Office);
- Possess a valid riding permit with minimum Class A.
