Duties & Responsibilities:

- Analyze
business activities and develop tracking and planning templates to serve
for reporting, budgeting and forecasting processes. - Driving
financial process mapping and improvement for the business unit with
particular attention to transport and workshop - Collect
appropriate finance and transport operation data and prepare business
commentaries that clearly link performance and activities - Development
of transport templates and tailor made reports and analysis to meet
standard and non routine demands of the finance and operations functions - Weekly
and monthly transport performance reporting and advisory review for UBL
Business unit - Fleet
Management performance reporting and analysis - Strategic
support for MTS Manager, Workshop Manager , Transport Manager, Contract
Managers and Uganda Finance Manager - Develop
templates and tailor made reports and analysis to meet standard and non
routine demands of the finance an operation functions. - Constant
monitoring of own fleet profitability and balance sheet ratios and trends
for decision making - Stock
losses and damages reporting and performance analysis against set
tolerance limits - Accident
losses reporting and liaison with insurance department on contract’s
insurance claims status - Reporting
on transport activity based costing reports on a weekly and monthly basis - Preparation
of business units transport project papers. - Any
other responsibilities delegated by Finance and Country Managers.
Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:
Skills & Experience:
- A
Bachelor’s Degree in finance discipline - A
Professional Qualification (ACCA/CIMA, CPAK/U) is an added advantage - Membership
of a professional organization - Good
analytical and numerical skills - Good
skills in management accounting - Excellent
communication skills (verbal and written) - Knowledge
of Oracle Accounting System.
