Summary: The Accountant
will support the CFO in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance
Department in the company.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Verifying
the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records - Update
and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing
financial business transactions (e.g., disbursements, expense vouchers,
invoices, receipts, accounts payable). - Entry
of data into QuickBooks - Compile
data and prepare a variety of reports. - Reconcile
records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors
or customers - Recommend
actions to resolve discrepancies. - Investigate
questionable data - Prepare
monthly statements as requested.
Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:
Skills & Experience:
- At
least two (2) years experience in accounting is required. - Progress
towards a professional qualification in Accounting (ACCA or CPA) - Highly
skilled in dealing with financial and numeric data Must be highly skilled
in use of Excel Spreadsheets - Good
verbal skills. - Excellent
work habits. - Experience
using QuickBooks is an added advantage.
