Job Summary: The Scheme
Manager will be responsible for overall coordination to ensure effective
operation of the Scheme.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Liaising with all stakeholders on the
matters of the Scheme. - Working closely with Human Resource Staff
i on matters of the Scheme. - Ensuring compliance with the current
statutory legislation and regulations. - Keeping up- to- date with amendments to
pension legislation and regulations. - Attending meetings with scheme service
providers. - Liaising with external administrator and
other service providers when necessary. - Supervising support staff/key officers at
the Scheme secretariat. - Writing periodic reports to BOT on the
Scheme activities. - Improving the Scheme in response to
feedback from members. - Producing and providing timely information
to Scheme members. - Holding stewardship of all the assets of
the scheme. - Advising the BOT on solvency and related
matters. - Implementing all decisions of the’ BOT.
- Coordinating the activities of all service
providers
- Postgraduate degree in the field of Business
Administration or Economics or Pension Administration and Management. - Three years’ experience at similar
managerial level - Excellent oral and written communication
and analytical skills; - IT skills; leadership and
organizational skills; - Ability to work effectively and quickly
under pressure. - Must be a Ugandan
- Proven ability to meet all expectations as
expressed in the above description.
