Summary: The major
purpose of this job is to perform effective customer and prospect coverage to
sell Caterpillar Generators, Industrial Engines, Marine engines and Power
systems switch gears.

Key
Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Carryout
customer visits to ensure maximum coverage, lookout for new potential buyers
for power systems products. - Lookout
and provide key information in the market place and communicate to sales
manager and team. - Provide
Power system technical assistance / advice to customers - Provide
Power System population key information to Power Systems Manager and team. - Manage
sales through tenders system up to commissioning stage. - Daily
recording of sales data in Mantrac Customer Relationship Management
system. - Approach
all potential and prospective customers and provide them with tailored
solutions. - Engage
in sales contract preparation in tandem with the legal and commercial
department. - Ensure
timely payment according to the contracts. - Achieving
Sales Targets and Maintaining PINS as set out by Sales Manager. - Work
closely with Power Systems consultants.
Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:
Skills & Experience:
- A
degree with a bias in engineering. Technical experience and sales experience
are important for this job. - Must
have a valid driving license. Writing and reporting skills. - Excellent
communication and presentation skills. - Team
working style and excellent Interpersonal skills. - Commercial
awareness and an understanding of standard procurement process.
