• Identify
  and build sales contact data base that can instantly be called or SMG
  for market feedback and sales communication. 
• Generate
  substantial representative telephone sales samples every day from key
  outlets across the country to define sales trends for key outlets across
  the country to define sales trends for key outlets to inform print
  order processing for minimal returns and editorial feedback for story
  follow up. 
• Compile
  cumulative sales data for all key outlets so as to offer advisory to
  agents and sub-agents to the circulation systems manager to determine the
  print order numbers for each outlet.
• Call
  all the key delivery end points of the distribution channel and provide
  daily delivery report indicating delivery times and mechanisms say van or
  taxi indicating comments for improvements.
• Maintain
  a subscriber contact databank with telephone numbers so as to provide
  phone support in regards to debt communication, payments renewal, delivery
  and customer issues and forwarding new subscribers to the Circulation
  Manager.
• Assist
  the circulation manager in generating written advisory to the field sales
  teams and agents pertaining issues of wastage control gaps to address in
  their work scope based on captured telesales and blue bird sales data.
• Prepare
  detailed sales trend & pattern analysis per route , area, outlet
  , sales point agent , sub agent and supermarkets to inform the
  next/new print order/demand . 
• Analyse
  Sales performance of both existing and new copy sales spikes / events/
  projects i.e. Elections, Exams results, Campaigns, Scandals, Breaking
  Stories P1 Stories to inform improvement modifications for the next or
  upcoming issues.
  

• Diploma
  in Statistics, Mathematics , Business Administration or any related course
  from a recognized institution. Additional qualifications in sales or
  data analysis would be an added advantage.
• 2
  years experience in Sales / Data Analysis
• Appreciation
  of numbers including data interpretation and collection to inform decision
  making. 
• Customer
  care and ability to handle difficult customer responses for example
  street vendors 
• An
  understanding of fast moving consumer goods market environment especially
  newspaper market in Uganda 
• Self-driven 
• Willing
  to work for long hours including weekend .
• Strong
  Analytical Skills
• Computer
  literacy especially in spreadsheets and data analysis like SPSS, STRATA,
  Epi Info.
• Business
  Acumen
• Excellent
  Communication Skills.
