About EOC:
The Equal Opportunities Commission, established in 2007 by the Equal Opportunities Act is mandated to provide a framework for redressing imbalances which exist against the marginalized groups while promoting equality and fairness.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Handling and ensuring safety and confidentiality of the Commission’s records in the Commission.
- Ensuring proper classification and management of mail and other records.
- Initiating/creating name files.
- Identifying gaps in records and information management and taking corrective measures.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- An Honors Bachelors Degree in either Library and Information Science or Records and Archives Management from a recognized University/Institution
- A minimum of two years working experience at the level of a Records Officer, in Government or equivalent experience from a reputable organization.
Personal Competencies: Computer literacy, Records and Information Management, Communication Skills, Ethics and Integrity Management, Confidentiality.
