Key
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Check
    technical drilling programs for all exploration wells, prepare Standard
    Drilling Instructions and assist in updating Drilling Manuals.
  • Guarantee
    the safe execution of agreed drilling programmed activities on time at the
    well site, in compliance with codes of practices, while optimizing and
    improving costs and lead times.
  • Liaise
    with the senior drilling supervisor on any anomaly observed and proffer
    solutions.
  • Optimise
    the progress of the operations after discussions with the Base Geologist
    and Reservoir Engineer.
  • Prepare
    detailed plan for the interventions of all contractors from services
    companies as well as logistic department for timely delivery and
    co-ordinate readiness of location, safe and efficient rig positioning.
  • Maintain
    and comply with TOTAL established HSE procedures and policies.
 Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
  • Minimum
    12 years experience in drilling and well completion in the oil & gas
    industry
  • IWCF
    Certification Previous knowledge in exploration and remote drilling
  • Knowledge
    and understanding of logistic onshore area management
  • Strong
    knowledge and understanding of HSE related to the oil & gas Industry
