Uganda Electricity Transmission
Company Limited (UETCL) a fully state owned limited Company is a lead
player in the Uganda power sector. It is responsible for the bulk purchase and
sale of electricity from the generating companies to the distribution companies
throughout Uganda. It is also responsible for all exports and imports of
electricity in Uganda

Job Summary: The Manager’s
role is to implement transmission projects plans to meet the future demand in
line with UETCL’s strategic objectives.

Key Performance Areas:
- Development
and Implementation of Project Implementation Plans - Detailed
Design Basis and Engineering - Construction
- Commissioning
- University Degree
in Electrical Engineering. - Experience
in project management more so competencies in Donor funded Procurement
guidelines, Contract management, Supervising Project Accounts and
Organising Project meetings. - 10
years work experience 5 of which should be at a management level with a
reputable organization. - Qualification
in Project Management will be in a reputable organization. - Familiarity
with the electricity sector will be an added advantage. - Computer
skills. - Demonstrate
a background of personal
(individual) and strategic leadership. - 35
years of age and above - Proven
good management and interpersonal and strategic leadership - Highly
motivated , innovative and a committed team player
