About CAA:
Civil Aviation
Authority (CAA) is a corporate body responsible for the regulation of Civil
Aviation in Uganda. It manages Entebbe International Airport and 13 other
aerodromes
Up-country. CAA
carries out its work in conformity with International Civil Aviation
Organization (ICAO) Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPS).
Job Summary: The Manager will initiate,
develop and monitor all capital projects in Aerodrome Engineering and
development and ensure that they are well documented.

Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with
    full professional membership. Postgraduate qualification will be an added
    advantage.
  • 8
    Years experience with exposure to large engineering projects and 3 years
    experience at senior level.
  • Project
    management experience more so ability to run several of them
    simultaneously.
  • Airport
    construction and design as well as ICAO SARPS will be added advantages.
  • Member
    of Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers (UIPE) and registered with
    the Engineers’ Registration Board.
  • Demonstrated
    managerial skills.
  • Computer
    aided drawing skills.
  • Computer
    literacy.
