Summary: The job holder
will be charged with managing the entire credit granting process including
consistent application of the policy with ultimate goal of optimizing sales and
bad debt losses.

Key
Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensure
the financial and commercial team operate in line with policy. - Manage
the debt portfolio in the agreed timelines at the required performance
levels. - Drive
improvements in DSO and aged debt metrics to achieve agreed objectives. - Minimize
bad debts by mitigating risk management and cash collections. - Prepare
management reports and presentations. - Manage
day-to-day operations of the teams including staffing levels and training. - Initiate
and implement improvements. - Provide
leadership and direction of the Credit control team. - Coordinate
alternate debt recovery measures both internal and external legal
activities.
Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:
Skills & Experience:
- Degree
in Business Administration majoring in accounting. - Qualifications
or working towards being a chartered accountant will be an added
advantage. - 4
years experience and with team management expertise. - Ability
to interact with wider business unite and mitigate risk accordingly. - Highly
motivated and organized. - Communicate
effectively. - Good
leadership skills with ability to influence and negotiate. - Proficiency
in Microsoft Applications more so MS Excel.
