Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist
    the technical teams (Drilling, Logistic, Geosciences and Procurement) in
    day to day business for all freight forwarding and expediting matters
    (import/export of equipment) in accordance with local customs regulations.
  • Administer
    the freight forwarder & customs clearance services contract.
  • Assist
    in liaison with customs authorities, maintain internal follow up of tool
    database, maintain and communicate all statistics related to Transit
    operations.
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:
  • University
    degree in Logistics, International Trade or equivalent
  • Proven
    experience in cargo handling
  • Knowledge
    of customs regulations and procedures
  • 5-10
    years experience working with freight forwarders
  • Excellent
    organizational, communication and analytical skills
  • Proficient
    in MS Office (Excel, Word and Access)
  • Previous
    knowledge of SAP will be an added advantage
