About CAA:
Civil Aviation
Authority (CAA) is a corporate body responsible for the regulation of Civil
Aviation in Uganda. It manages Entebbe International Airport and 13 other
aerodromes
Up-country. CAA
carries out its work in conformity with International Civil Aviation
Organization (ICAO) Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPS).
Job Summary: The Engineer will ensure that the
plants, power supply, distribution, transmission systems, equipment, electronic
and security control systems and the vehicle fleet at the airport is in good
maintenance and repair as promised in the service to the clients.

  • Input
    the Strategic Planning.
  • Aerodrome
    maintenance processes.
  • Human
    Resource Management.
 Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics
    Engineering. Postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
  • 7 Years
    experience, 3 years experience at managerial level in reputable firm.
  • Knowledge
    of relevant ICAO SARPS.
  • Member
    of Uganda Institution of Professional Engineers (UIPE) and registered with
    the Engineers’ Registration Board.
  • Demonstrated
    managerial skills.
  • Computer
    aided drawing skills.
  • Computer
    literacy.
