Title: Biodiversity Field Officer -Botanist

Duties & Responsibilities:

The
job holder will participate in biodiversity baseline surveys, advise on the
restoration of well pads and the company’s long-term biodiversity programs. - ·
The
Botanist will conduct botanical elements of environmental studies and prepare
related reports on the following areas: base line surveys, resources
management, or management of large-scale conservation projects.
Skills and Experience:
- University
degree in botany or at least 5 years field experience in this field - Technical
proficiency as a botanist, with excellent taxonomical skills and
demonstrable knowledge of the plants of the region that the Company is
working in including the major invasive species encountered - Good
working knowledge of GIS/GPS - Experience
in restoration ecology would be an added advantage - Strong
verbal and written communication skills
