Title: Marketing and Sales Manager
Reports
to: Managing Director
Duty
Station: Nsambya, Kampala, Uganda
Radio Sapientia:
Radio Sapientia Limited is
a company wholly owned by the Uganda Episcopal Conference, an umbrella
organization for all the Catholic Bishops in Uganda. It operates a radio from
its headquarters within the complex of the Catholic Secretariat at Nsambya.
Summary: To develop and
ensure an effective and efficient marketing and sales system.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Planning,
coordinating and supervising all activities in the Marketing and Sales
department to ensure attainment of sales targets. - Developing
a marketing and sales management strategy in line with the Company’s
corporate strategies. - Implementing
the Company’s marketing and sales policies and strategies. - Initiating
and advising management on appropriate improvements in the marketing mix and
programs. - Formulating
marketing plans, budgets and delivery schedules. - Developing
and maintaining good and lasting relationships with all advertising
clients. - Identify
advertising trends and behavior and provide market intelligence for
marketing and promotional activities.
Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor’s
degree in commerce, marketing or any related field. - Possession
of a post graduate qualification in marketing is an added advantage. - Membership
of a professional marketing body is an added advantage. - Should
possess computer skills relevant to the job. - Should
have wide knowledge and experience in developing and implementing
marketing plans, promotions, research and market intelligence, with a
least three (3) years’ experience in a managerial position.
Personal
