Key Duties & Responsibilities:
The Logistics Manager is in
charge of the general supervision and management of the following departments:

- Transport;
Assets Management; Procurement; Communication/Security Logistics staff
Management; - To
review all logistic reports and cross-check contents randomly with finance
in order to ensure accuracy; - Manage
all procurement at national and international level according to ACTED
procurement procedures; - Ensure
training and capacity building for logistics team members in order to
increase the level of technical ability and skills within the department; - Develop
relevant management procedures within the team;
Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:
Skills & Experience:
- University
degree / Masters qualification “preferred” in Logistics and
Procurement or any other related field; - Professional
qualification in Logistics is an added advantage; - At
least 4 years progressively responsible experience in Logistics and
Procurement; - Ability
to coordinate all logistics activities and manage all staff in Logistics
department; Highly motivated; - Ability
to travel and work under pressure.
