Job Title: Financial & Management Accountant
Reports to: Finance Manager
About Quality Chemicals:
Quality Chemical Industries Ltd (QCIL) is a pharmaceutical manufacturing plant, producing anti- retroviral and anti-malarial drugs at Luzira Industrial Park in Uganda. The project is a joint venture between Quality Chemicals Ltd-a local drug distribution company and CIPLA Ltd-a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer from India.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Maintenance of Fixed Assets register & accounting for Capex.
- Computation & reconciliation of cost of sales.
- Ensure proper valuation 6 reconciliation of stocks.
- Preparation of financial statements.
- Preparation of production 6 variance analysis reports.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Graduate of Commerce or Business Administration with Accounting plus professional qualification of either ACCA or CPA with at least 5 years experience in a large organization preferably a manufacturing firm.
- The desired candidate should be knowledgeable in accounting standards, budgeting, cost accounting, taxation, information systems, leadership management and general appreciation of company systems, policies, procedures and processes.
