- Ensure general maintenance and repair of press and equipment is carried out as per schedule.
- Develops and execute preventative maintenance plans for the company press and auxiliary equipment
- Management of maintenance staff. Participates in performance reviews capacity gap analysis and formal staff development initiatives.
- Work with the pre-press, press and engineering teams to resolve all maintenance issues with minimal downtime.
- Supervise the CAPEX engineering projects implementation
- Uphold Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality standards and requirements.
- Keep maintenance records of all company equipment
- Oversee effective use of hand and power forklifts.
- Assist in building capacities of staff in using equipment and groom them in the best practices.
- Liaise with all outside contractors to ensure return in investment and parity with HSE standards.
- Basic university degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
- Engineer registration board certificate
- At least 5 years working experience in an engineering supervisory role
- A strong appreciation of printing and publications business
