is solely in charge of financial control and reporting.

Key
Duties & Responsibilities:
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Responsible
for timely production of monthly and annual financial reports - Ensure
timely submission of all tax duties to the different tax authorities - Filling
timely submitting monthly VAT returns to the Finance Manager for approval
and eventually to URA - Preparation
of financial statements and files for the external audit exercise. - Responsible
for provision of information to external auditors during statutory audits. - Checking
for accuracy while ensuring all entries are entered in the system. - Verification
of voucher postings as per petty cash balances on a daily basis. - Execute
monthly check overdues alongside credit controller particularly those
exceeding a month and take due action after consulting with Finance
manager. - Ensure
proper accountability for petty cash and replenish in time whilst
supporting payments keenly more so to the right persons.
Qualifications,
Skills & Experience:
- The
candidate must possess an accounting degree from a recognized Institution
, a professional qualification in Accounting is a MUST and must have
experience of reporting of at least three years in a profit making
organization - Must
possess Financial reporting skills. - Must
be computer literate. - Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and time
management to beat deadlines. - Exhibit
professionalism and be a team player.
