Job Title: Programme Assistants (4 Vacancies)
Duty Station: Gulu, Nwoya, Lamwo, Agago, Uganda

The National Union of Disabled Persons of Uganda (NUDIPU) an umbrella organization promoting the rights of persons with disabilities in Uganda. In Uganda, the vision of ‘having a dignified society for all.’ NUDIPU exists for the purpose of building a unified voice for PWDs and particularly the realization of their rights and inclusive development through support and advocacy.

Job Summary: The Programme Assistant will support in the realization and implementation of the livelihoods project in Northern Uganda.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Over see and support project implementation at the district. 
  • Responsible for advocacy and mobilization of PWDs. 
  • Coordinate with local authorities, partners and stakeholders . 
  • Mobilize and monitor PWDs and their participation as stakeholders. 
  • Manage and keep books of District Union accounts and funding received. 
  • Submit monthly reports to the program officer. 

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

  • A bachelors degree in Social sciences , Social Works and Social Administration , Community Audit Education and any related humanities .
  • The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years relevant working experience.
