Job Summary: PHP will be hiring an Administrative Manager to oversee the organization’s finances and general administration. The selected candidate will initially be given a contract for the remainder of 2013, starting in approximately May/June 2013, with the possibility of renewal.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The Administrative Manager will have the following responsibilities:
1.      Finance
  • Manage all of the organization’s financial books and complete all accounting record entry
  • Manage the organization’s budget development processes
  • Generate necessary quarterly and annual financial statements
  • Help oversee the organization’s procurement processes
2.     General Administration
  • Serve at the reception area and be responsible for the overall management of the office
  • Manage the creation and storage of organizational records, such as correspondence, program implementation records, and personnel information
  • Write letters and other documents on behalf of the organization
  • Manage the submission of important documents to relevant authorities for compliance or other purposes
 Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Commerce or Business Administration, preferably specializing in accounting, procurement, or finance.
  • Applicants should communicate effectively with others and exhibit strong organizational qualities.
  • They should be highly proficient in accounting standards and procedures.
  • Applicants should exhibit extremely strong computer skills.
  • Applicants with prior knowledge of QuickBooks accounting software will have an added advantage.
