About Africa Innovations Institute:
Africa Innovations Institute (Afril), a not-for-profit non-government centre of excellence, undertakes research and innovations in agriculture and food systems constraints in order to enhance income and food and nutrition security of smallholder farmers in Africa.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Chairman in promoting the public image of Afril both locally and internationally.
- Developing and effectively managing all Afril websites and databases with a view of bringing to the attention of the national and international community the works and impacts of Afril.
- Coordinating and managing preparation, publication and dissemination of periodic reports and publications from the institute.
- Periodically analyze the external environment of Afril to find out the concerns and expectations of its stakeholders and advise management accordingly.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate shall be a holder of BA or BSc in information, Mass Communication or Public Relations or its equivalent
- Possession of master of Science or postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations, communication will be of added advantage
- Postgraduate training in website development and management , public relations and communication for development will also be an added advantage.
