Human Resources Officer – Staff Training & Development at Posta Uganda

Reports to: Manager Human Resources
Organisation: Posta Uganda
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
·         Identify staff training needs in consultation with heads of department.
·         Draw up an annual training plan and the budget in line with the overall manpower development strategy
·         Handle all training related processes including documents, venues, allowances and travel
·         Effectively co-ordinate performance management in the company to ensure achievement of agreed objectives within the agreed timelines.
·         Ensure that staff appraisals are done bi-annually.
·         Disseminate and sensitize staff from time to time on terms and conditions of service and all approved policies and procedures
·         Liaise with heads of department to ensure that meetings for all departments take place and minutes thereof filed
·         Keep training statistics and make monthly and other regular reports on training
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
·         Honour’s  degree  in  HR Management obtained from a reputable institution
·         Post  graduate  qualification in Human Resources Management will be an advantage
·         Two (2)  years’ Post-Qualification  experience  in human resources management and/or training.
