About NHL:
Nakasero Hospital Limited (NHL) is a private hospital in Kampala that opened its doors to out-patient treatment in March of 2009 and in-patient treatment, the same year. The main objective of the hospital is to provide quality medical care to patients and to fill a gap created by lack of adequate medical facilities in the country, forcing medical treatment to be sought outside the region.
Job Summary: Responsible for generating and developing both inbound and outbound new business opportunities, plan, develop and implement the organization’s marketing strategies and communications a well as organize and implement the organizations public relation activities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be required to carry-out the following key requirements:
· Proactively seek out partnership opportunities and establish communication and rapport with those businesses that can benefit from NHL’s service
· Adopt a hands-on approach in monitoring the implementation and execution of marketing programs.
· Participate fully in expansion programs in as far as identification of appropriate strategic locations and advising management or expansion opportunities.
· Ensure that the Organization regularly conducts relevant market research and surveys on current and new products/services.
· Monitor and analyze trends along with financial, technological socio-economic and demographic factors and prepare market activity reports
· Develop and recommend pricing strategies for the organization.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· Bachelor Degree/Master in Business Administration/Marketing or equivalent.
· Must have knowledge in product development with at least six (6) years experience, preferably in the hospital industry with excellent negotiation skills.
· Should be a pro-active self starter who can operate both individually and as part of a team.
· Must have outstanding needs analysis, positioning, business justification and closing skills.
· Should superior presentation and excellent oral and written communication skills.
· High commercial acumen is required.
