Save the Children seeks to fill the following vacant positions and applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced Persons.
Job Purpose: Reporting to the Area Manager, the Senior Officer takes overall responsibility for the technical implementation of the local level CRG thematic programme in the region; and participates in national level activities including supporting synergy between and linking up local and national level activities.
The Senior Officer may be called upon as and when necessary to support the emergency team in cases of humanitarian crisis.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
·         A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in social sciences, social work and social administration, development studies, law, or any relevant field with specific experience or training on the Child Rights Governance and Child Rights Programming.
·         Post Graduate training in Project Management and Community Development is an added advantage.
·         At least 3 years implementing programmes with strong linkage to the CRC, child rights governance and child rights programming preferably with International NGOs.
