About Mildmay Uganda:
Mildmay Uganda is an HIV/AIDS treatment and training centre also providing technical support for Ministry of Health Systems to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services in 16 districts of Central Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· The Director-Sustainability and Partnerships will be expected to Work with functional heads, to identify areas for strategic program and infrastructure expansion, defining related resource requirements for the development of a robust Mildmay Uganda Directorate of Sustainability and Partnerships.
· Based on these interactions the position holder will lead in the development, implementation and monitoring of Mildmay Uganda’s Sustainability Plan ensuring the inclusion of a Strategic Resource Generation component within the Plan, that is consistent with the core objectives of the organisation.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· The successful applicant will be a strong practicing Christian with a good reputation who will uphold the Christian ethos of the organization.
· S/he must have a Masters degree in a relevant field such as Development, Public Health, Public Policy, Finance, Business or Public Administration.
· S/he will have a minimum of 5 years’ successful experience in grant solicitation and management; strategy development; resource mobilisation as well as donor cultivation in the health care field at least 3 of which should have been at senior management level.
· Should have experience in identifying and evaluating potential partner relationships.
· Successful candidate will have advanced levels of personal skills in making formal persuasive presentations strategy development; advocacy and negotiation; resource mobilization; communication; and leadership.
