Job Title: Participatory Methods Facilitator (Kyangwali and Kyaka II Refugee Settlements)
Organisation: Finnish Refugee Council
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead participatory development process using PRA/ PLA tools with common interest groups.
- Provide professional mentorship, training and support on use of PRA / PLA methods.
- Develop participatory and community monitoring and assessment systems and planning.
- Supervise a small field office with 3 professional team members and refugee staff.
- University degree in Community Development / Sociology / Adult Education etc.
- Trained in PRA / PLA tools & methods, proven record of using these methods and facilitating participatory processes in community work for at least 2 years.
- Ability to adapt to modest conditions at remote rural setting.
