Our client Kalangala Infrastructure Services Ltd is seeking to recruit a result driven and motivated individual for the vacancy above:
Job Summary: The Job holder will over see day to day financial accounting and management activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Maintain and reinforce financial controls including maintaining financial records’ integrity
· Supervision of tax filing and reporting
· Production of Management Reports
· Coordination of statutory and external audits
· Competencies Required:
· Excellent written and oral skills – English.
· Must be able to work effectively in a small, and should be hands on supervisor.
· MS Office, ERP Systems.
· Excellent planning and organizing skills.
· Ability and willingness to train and pass on skills.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· Relevant first degree or equivalent and a professional Accounting Qualification.
· Computerized Accounting with working knowledge of QuickBooks, drafting of Final Accounts, Ugandan Tax including computation and filing of tax returns and other statutory requirements. Advanced MS Excel
· Cash Management and other corporate treasury activities.
· 5 Years, 2 at supervisory level
