About Us:
Rakai Health Sciences Program is a bio-medical research and service delivery collaborative initiative located in Rakai district, South Western Uganda.
It strives to improve health outcomes of populations through a combination of community-based research, curative services, and prevention strategies. It is based at the Uganda Virus Research Institute- Entebbe and Kalisizo in Rakai District.
Job Purpose: The driver will be responsible for driving program vehicles to designated locations with strict adherence to local traffic laws and in accordance to program guidelines and regulations pertaining to vehicles.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· Minimum of ordinary level certificate
· A minimum of at least 2 years driving experience
· Must have a valid driving permit with Classes B, CM and DL
· Must have basic training in mechanics and wiring
· Willingness to reside and work in a rural setting of Kalisizo
· Ability to read and write English clearly
· Available to start work immediately
