- Work with the ASSIST OVC team to plan and carry out the implementation of OVC activities using collaborative quality improvement approach
- Work with the Ministry of Gender Labour and Social Development and OVC implementing partners to execute plans of institutionalizing quality improvement in community and institutional OVC programs
- Support and facilitate the training and formation of OVC QI teams on national quality improvement standards for protection, care and support of OVCs
- Efficiently organize and carry out coaching visits to OVC teams to improve their ability to identify and solve problems in OVC service delivery and learning sessions for teams to share and learn
- Support QI teams to conduct monthly data collection, analysis, use and reporting
- Support QI teams to synthesis and document quality improvement efforts
- Organize and participate in partners meetings in the region of operation
- Participate in the development of materials for trainings, learning sessions, harvest meetings and coaching visits
- Prepare biweekly, quarterly and annual reports and update the technical team on the progress of quality improvement in OVC services
- Liaise with the Knowledge management team to document success stories about the improvement interventions
- Degree in Social work, or Community Development studies or related field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience related to health and community development work preferably in the field of community health with Orphans and Vulnerable Children
- Knowledge of Quality improvement approaches is strongly desired
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills and experience working with other implementing partners
- Good analytical skills
- Willingness to travel and spend over 50% of their time in the field
- Familiarity with USAID regulations is desired.
