About TASO:
The AIDS Support Organization (TASO Uganda), an organisation contributing to

Job Summary: To take charge of the information systems and data management at the Centre, and ensure effective provision of information services and management and utilization of data
Key Deliverables:
- Information system maintained
- Data entry supervised
- Data validated and cleaned
- Management information reports written
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare periodic work plans and budgets for the delivery of information and
data management services - Supervise entry of service data at all levels and make monthly submission of raw datasets to headquarters.
- Carry out routine data cleaning, validation, analysis and reporting
- Make regular data backups, carry out database administration at the centre
servers and offer technical support and training to data collectors and other
end-users - Administer and manage user accounts on the LAN for centre staff and
manage proper usage and maintenance of ICT equipment - Coordinate activities and ensure availability of logistical support to the Information Systems department.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Computer Science or Business
Computing. - 4 year in Data Management preferably in a Health related position
- Special Knowledge:
Ethical issues in Data management, Rights of PLWHAs, Accuracy
