Job Title: Logistics Manager

Job Summary: The Logistics Manager is responsible and accountable for effective delivery of all logistics services for Save the Children, develop long term logistics strategies to support programmes and provide strategic leadership to the Officers and Staff of the Logistics, Procurement, fleet, Warehouse / Asset Management and construction. He/she is responsible for ensuring effective coordination of service delivery and implementation of the sections activities.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- A Minimum of Bachelor’s degree, Professional Qualifications in Fleet/Logistics and Security Management is of added advantage .
- At least five years working experience in a similar position in a reputable organization.
Good practical experience in logistics emergency response preparation and management - A management style which emphasizes support, strategic thinking general guidance and delegation of authority .
- Ability to intervene with crisis management or troubleshooting as necessary.
- Interpersonal skills, customer care skills, contributing to synergies and effective liaison between senior management, the unit staff and program staff.
