Reports to: Executive Director
Organisation: Management Training and Advisory Centre (MTAC)
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Provision of administrative services
· Maintain the Human Resource Information System and generate the required management reports as and when required
· Prepare the monthly payroll and submit to the relevant authorities for verification and approvals
· Assist in hiring by providing job descriptions and advertisements, and in the case of hiring of senior team leaders, by screening and interviewing candidates initiate and manage staff ant programmes in line with the Human Resource Manual
· Initiate Staff Discipline and Grievance handling mechanisms and procedures in line with the HR policies and national labour legislation
· Initiate the preparation of work place Policies and designing programmes for their implementation
· Assist in the procurement of services and goods
· Other duties as Management may from time to time assign
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· Master’s degree in Human Resource Management A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management; Social Sciences; SWSA and other related fields Membership to the Human Resource Managers Association of Uganda is a must
· A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Human Resource practitioner handling the human resource and administrative duties
· Must be proficient in MS Office packages
· Excellent oral and written communication skills is a must
