Job Title: Trainer / Lecturer

Job Summary: The position holder will lead implementation of the Degree Programme as well as undertake training/lecturing on the various course units and other training programmes as may be arranged and assigned within the directorate.
About Mildmay:
Mildmay Uganda is an HIV/AIDS treatment and training centre also providing Health Systems Strengthening to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services in 16 districts of Central Uganda. Situated on Entebbe Road, Lweza, south of Kampala, Mildmay Uganda is seeking applications from experienced and motivated people interested in a rewarding career undertaking the challenging roles.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
·         Masters Degree in Health related field or Social Sciences with post graduate qualification in Education.
·         He/she must have at least 2 years’ experience teaching adults; experience in research and writing for publication as well as writing proposals.
·         S/he must have excellent writing and presentation skills
·         Good communication and interpersonal skills.
·         Proficiency in various MS office packages and working knowledge of English and local language(s) are crucial.
·         Hard working, trust-worthy, and holding the highest levels of integrity and confidentiality.
·         Must be flexible, reliable, able to work under pressure; and in sympathy with the Christian values of Mildmay Uganda.
·         Evidence of a non-judgemental approach regarding race, religion, culture, sexuality and lifestyle is critical.
