Job Title: Maintenance Engineer
About GCC:
GCC SERVICES (Uganda) Limited, a services company specialized in life support services, camp construction, facilities maintenance and specialized labour supply is seeking Ugandan Nationals for the position above. The successful candidates will be working on a full time basis and will be assigned to GCC’s clients in the oil and gas industry in Uganda.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. (Holders of disciplines other than electrical will need to demonstrate appreciable electrical engineering experience or additional electrical credentials);
· Minimum 3-5 years maintenance and engineering experience
· Proven Supervisory experience
A candidate will have an added advantage if:
· Trained and certified to BS Electrical standards;
· Able to demonstrate eligibility for registration with a professional engineering body;
· He/she has worked in the oil and gas industry;
· He/she has a working knowledge of a General Permit-to-Work (PTW) system
Skills:
· Proven experience in using a CMMS
· Experience in facilities maintenance activities
· Experience of supervising maintenance teams/subcontractors
· Knowledge of EHS management systems
· Practical knowledge of Risk assessment
· Must be computer literate
· Business Behaviours
· Strong leadership skills in related areas
· Personal effectiveness and commitment
· Demonstrable planning skills
· Excellent communicator and Team Player
· Culture awareness & inclusive behaviour
