About USTP:
The Uganda Stop TB Partnership (USTP) is an amalgamation of organisations with a stake in the control of Tuberculosis in Uganda. Main objective is to accelerate achievements and ensure sustainability of the national Programme case detection and cure rate targets, providing accurate information about TB, Providing a platform for exchange of information, promoting advocacy, communication and social mobilisation for TB control and maintaining relations and subscribing to the objectives of the Global stop TB partnership. USTP is seeking to recruit an Executive Director to operate its Secretariat following the provisions of its constitution and working under the guidance of the coordinating Board of USTP and the Executive Secretary.
Duties & Responsibilities:
·         Be the administrative manager of the USTP Secretariat.
·         Develop and spear-head initiatives to market USTP; mobilise resources for the partnership and Co-ordinate planning activities.
·         Oversee work plan preparation and implementation, budgets and Management of finances.
·         Secretary to the Board, Coordinating Partners, handle correspondences and meetings.
·         Prepare reports for the Coordinating Board including quarterly and annual reports, follow up decisions in collaboration with the Technical Adviser.
·         Facilitate the work of the Executive Secretary, Treasurer and update the USTP Website in consultation with the Chair and ES.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·         Masters degree in: Public Health, Public Administration, Business Administration, Development Studies (NGO management option) or equivalents.
·         Proven ability to mobilise resources for Non-governmental Organizations.
·         Competency in designing TB and TB/HIV programmatic strategies.
·         Demonstrated ability to work with national programmes, donors, partners, consultants and staff in delivering project results in a timely manner.
·         Strong computer Skills.
