A leading Health Logistics Management organization dealing in the importation and distribution of HIV related drugs in Uganda. The organization has an established extensive service offering including a dedicated procurement agency, providing a comprehensive drug & health commodity supply chain and logistics solution across Uganda is looking to recruit for the position above.
Job Summary: The role is responsible building capacity and training the field staff at the health facilities in order to facilitate efficient flow of the HIV related commodities.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Train, develop and support the health facility and district staff in the supply c management systems including the Ministry of Health HMIS.
· Support the partner Health facilities with analysis and forecasting of the required commodities ultimately feeding into the SCM system.
· Support the partner health facility with data collection and ensure quality manager reporting to the various stakeholders.
· Support the technical staff with tracking of the HIV related commodities in order to en proper usage and no stock-outs.
· Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with other district stakeholder order to support the capacity building process.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· Bachelor of Pharmacy, or Supply Chain Management or Diplomacy in Pharmacy with 5 years working experience.
· 2-3 years’ experience in Supply Chain Management.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Other Skills and Competencies:
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Report writing skills.
· Appropriate computer skills.
· Good Analytical skills.
· Ability to live in a rural setting.
