- Have a minimum of a BSc (Electrical Engineering) degree or its equivalent from a reputable institution;
- Minimum 7-10 years relevant engineering, installation and/or maintenance experience;
- Must have a working knowledge of a General Permit-to-Work (PTW) system in a busy environment (construction, oil & gas, rmanufacturing);
- Must be able to perform and challenge electrical designs and have construction supervision experience;
- Must have hands-on electrical maintenance skills and technical support experience;
- Must have a working knowledge of BS electrical engineering standards;
- Proven experience in generator, electrical and general maintenance.
- Practical knowledge of low to medium voltage distribution systems;
- A candidate will have an added advantage if:
- He/she is trained and certified on BS electrical standards;
- He/she is a certified /chartered engineer or can demonstrate eligibility for registration with a professional engineering body;
- He/she has worked in the oil and gas industry;
- Proven experience of supervising maintenance
- Experience in facilities maintenance activities teams/subcontractors.
- Knowledge of EHS management systems;
- Practical knowledge of Risk assessment;
- Proven experience in using a CMMS;
- Must be computer literate
