Reports to: Network Operations and Maintenance Manager
Organisation: Uganda Telecom Ltd (UTL)
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement Network operational guidelines for the team and ensure adherence. These include quality control systems and procedures to minimize downtime and maximize network performance.
· Manage the OPEX budget and ensure value for money to the business
· Contribute to the development of the Technical Strategic Plan in line with the Corporate Strategy.
· Manage the deployment of new fixed network technologies and services and ensure proper Network working relationships
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
Applicants must have:
· Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Telecommunications Engineering or any other relevant field.
· Postgraduate level in any related field is an added advantage.
· 5 years’ experience, 3 of which need to be in an Engineering Management Position.
