Reports to: Technical Advisor , Child Protection
Location: Mbarara, Uganda

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
·         Conduct periodic vulnerability assessment to establish child protection needs and plan age appropriate interventions
·         Identify and map existing community support structures and informal organizations and then build their capacity in child protection approaches and principles
·         Deliver in-school and out- of school interventions to ensure that all children in need of protection and legal support receive a holistic package of care
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
·         A degree in social work, social sciences, development studies , law or a related field of study.
·         Certificate level or on the job training in child protection, psychosocial support and juvenile justice an added advantage
·         At least two years experience in delivering child focused interventions at community level
