Job Summary: The successful candidate will contribute to the growth of DRC in Uganda by conduct of effective resource mobilization to expand the funding base, developing contacts and concepts, networking and negotiating with major donor agencies.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Develop the country donor portfolio and implement fundraising strategy
· Identify suitable funding opportunities, approach, negotiate and secure them
· Internalize to DRC major donor strategies, preferences, initiatives and consortiums
· Create and maintain a network of donor representatives
· Develop high quality concepts for DRC Uganda and across borders
· Monitor donor reporting, correspondence and accountability
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· University degree in related field
· Competent, social, ambitious, charming and conversant in development context
· Proven record of, securing of grants, concept development, and donor relations inclusive European Union, USAID, DFID, EU, UN
· Experience in management of financial regulations of USAID, DFID, EU, UN
· Experience in contract and grants management
· Professional conduct and awareness of official protocols
· Excellent writing, presentation and negotiation skills
