Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Participate in office network and communication system planning, construction, installation and configuration;
· Responsible for office network and communication system maintenance such as updating, promoting system performance and daily supervision;
· Participate in emergency disposal of basic telecommunication network systems and maintenance of the LAN;
· Participate in research and improvement of network and information security technology and provide solutions as required;
· Maintain accurate documentation of technical support;
· Author documents on common issues and solutions in order to build the knowledge base;
· Any other duties as assigned by Line Manager/ Supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
· Bachelor’s Degree or above in Information Management, Computer Science, Communication or equivalent.
· At least 3 years related working experience.
Knowledge:
· Extensive knowledge of Computer Science
· Extensive knowledge of communication protocol
· Extensive knowledge of work related device management
· Clear understanding of Oil & Gas Exploration and Production operations in Uganda
