Job Summary: Management Accountant (1 Vacancy)

About UIRI:
Uganda Industrial Research Institute (UIRI) a parastatal organization under the auspices of the Ministry of Trade Industry and Cooperatives is seeking to recruit skilled and experienced personnel for the following positions:
Job Summary: The position holder will prepare, develop and analyse management accounting information and provide timely reports to management.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
· Management of financial information and preparation of reports
· Developing and managing an effective accounting system
· Offer financial management advisory services for more effective project implementation
· Any other duties assigned
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics or Commerce, ACCA qualification is an added advantage.
· At least three years of experience in management accounting at a reputable institution.
Note: The Management Accountant and Project Coordinator will be required to perform duties related to the implementation of Uganda Petroleum Institute – Kigumba. Successful candidates will start work immediately.
