Sales Executives (3) Positions at AIKAN Uganda

Reports to: Chief Commercial Officer
Organisation: Aikan Uganda
Location: Kampala
Job Purpose: To promote and sell integrated logistics products including value added services, develop and recommend new sales opportunities.
Duties & Responsibilities:
·         Initiate market exploration.
·         Refer to all relevant information and statistics to target new customers,
·         Identify the logistics potential of clients and recommend the same to the Management team.
·         Facilitate information and opportunity transfer to other sales channels.
·         Systematically and constructively provide feedback to the product owners based on the findings in the market and from the customers to improve the services of the organisation.
·         Liaise with.
·         Customer Service staff on a regular basis in order communicate any special requirements from customers.
·         Ensure optimal sales/operational processes are in place to maintain high service standards.
·         Collaborate with other staff to ensure best practices and trade/industry knowledge is shared.
·         Submit monthly account specific sales reports and other Ad-hoc reporting as required.
Qualifications: A University Degree from a recognized University.
Essential: A minimum of 3 years sales experience.
Preferred: Experience in freight forwarding.
