Maintain and effective DGF-wide system of document management
- Act as an in-house “help desk” for solving IT-problems, faced by DGF-staff
- Maintain and update databases, including the consultant database
- Update mapping of DGF-supported activities, projects and programs
- Develop and maintain a DGF photo/video archive
- Develop and maintain a DGF archive of “Case stories” and “Best Practices”
- Develop and maintain an archive of news clips, articles, and reports on DGF
- Facilitate the work of “DGF Learning Platforms” as required
- Facilitate the organization of “Synergy Workshops” as required
- Assist in the production and dissemination of DGF publications
- Assist in responding to requests for information about DGF
- Assist in organizing partner meetings, staff seminars and thematic meetings
- The ideal candidate for this position will combine a Bachelor degree (development studies, communication, or similar) with superior IT-skills acquired both from studies and practical experience.
- Additional qualifications in technical areas related to democracy, justice, human rights, and accountability would be an advantage.
- At least 5 years of professional experience, three of which have been directly focused on ICT and knowledge management.
- Experience from working in a variety of professional environments, including state institutions, NGOs and international development partners would be an advantage
- Excellent track record from designing and managing systems for document management
- Superior track record in the area of event management
- Superior IT-skills
- Excellent inter-personal skills and capacity to build effective professional relationships
- Service mindedness and flexibility
- Fluency in English
- Strong cooperation and team working skills
- Capacity to work also under pressure, with high level of self motivation
