Job role: To contribute to excellence of the research unit by conducting basic research, project coordination and information management.
Key Result Areas
- Manage data entry within the Unit so as to ensure quality, efficiency, and affordability;
- Provide day-to-day technical support to Supervisor on ongoing research projects ensuring work plans and timelines are met and that data quality is high;
- Undertake basic and background research including participation in projects under the Unit;
- Contribute to the preparation of research instruments, reports and publications;
- Regularly provide specialist information on research progress;
- Identify standard research techniques and methods that can support the research team.
Experience and Knowledge
- At least two (2) years experience in socio-economic research;
- Computer literate especially in data analysis using modern statistical analysis software;
- Must demonstrate interpersonal skills, problem solving skills and organizational skills;
- Must be able to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
